On Thursday we’ve done the one and only Blitz Workout: B2B Segmentation of the Gym 🙌 Here are the two exercises that you can practice on your own, or with friends:
Exercise 1
NEEDS - PEOPLE - COMPANIES model:
What are the top needs you are addressing with your solo business?
For which top 3 categories of people?
B2B: In which top 3 kinds of companies?
Exercise 2
ADJACENCIES for expanding the business:
What are some other 1-2 needs that you could solve with your business? (e.g. in the same big activity area)
What are other 1-2 similar categories of people that share the top needs you currently address? (e.g. vary the function, seniority level, openness to external help etc.)
B2B: What are other 1-2 similar kinds of companies that you could serve? (e.g. vary the size, the geo, the industry etc.)
I recommend you set aside 30 minutes in a quiet place to go through the exercises. If you need any help or guidance, let me know in comments.
